Heidi Wright is a fully certified APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Pilates Matwork Instructor. The APPI method modifies Classical Pilates exercises, making the exercises accessible to a range of abilities. Heidi has been teaching this method to small group and 1:1 classes on the stunning North Coast of Northern Ireland, since founding Triangle Pilates in 2019. Heidi’s clear instructive style, calm demeanour and warm welcome has encouraged regular clients to fall in love with Pilates almost as much as she has!
Heidi’s classes are brilliant - the most enjoyably challenging yet relaxing 50 minutes, where I can really feel my muscles being worked and posture aligned. Heidi has such a warm, informative and encouraging manner and is also great craic. There are always plenty of laughs!

Heidi has always enjoyed the benefit of movement and flexibility, having trained to Grade 8 Level in Classical Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance) throughout her childhood and teenage years. She discovered Pilates at Dance House Dublin (2007) and has been hooked ever since! Heidi qualified as a Classical Pilates instructor in Dublin (2009) and began to teach both independently and for ‘Paul Clancy Training’ in the South Dublin area. Heidi furthered her training by completing the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Matwork Bridging Course and examination in London (2019). Heidi is also a Qualified Primary School Teacher.
Triangle Pilates courses are designed to progressively build strength, improve mobility and promote mental wellness. Classes include low-impact whole-body exercises which focus on core strength, alignment and efficient muscle usage. Classes progress in measured difficulty each week. Mats and all other equipment needed for the class are provided.
Heidi maintains and enhances her practice through regular CPD courses.
